After Googling a few things I found some really interesting web videos and some of the technology just blew my mind. Now some of you may have seen it before. But what i was really interested in is technologies and software that can do tasks simular to what is featured in the videos. OR links to videos that showcase completely different technologies.

The thing is... watching special features on movies I realise they have lots of tricks and software that can make jobs alot easier. For example... I thaught Mokey was a godsend when i saw the videos for it but then I found it wasn't really that special and pretty laborious to use. I dont know how it is now though. It was years and years ago.

Anyways onto the movies!
Microsoft & it's Mozaic Unwrapping (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNLx9pclMKU)
this looks really promising... now those demon facial morphs will be even easier.

Using photography to Improove Video Dynamic Range (http://www.vimeo.com/1513129)
This looks REALLY helpfull. the HDR video alone made me want this already.

A few more interesting videos I found are...
Simular to Mokey (http://www.vimeo.com/1513186)

Some cool Image processing (http://www.vimeo.com/1448831)

If you have any more cool videos showcasing awesome technologies feel free to post them. And any discussion on current techniques and software that makes life easier like these would id love to see them.

As far as 3d goes tho i thaught youd find this particularly interesting
