I have several current and future customers that want the ability to have a common background to import their 20 to 40 text pages without having to individually create the background.
That is:
1. make a graduated backgound
2. import 18 pages to create 18 still pages with same background.

Ken, would this help?

1) Import Text (from ascii), creating 18 pages
2) Add bg image to page 1
3) RMB-click the image layer in the Layers tab, select Copy
4) click the next page in the Pages list
5) press Ctrl+v
6) repeat 4 and 5 until done ...

OK, thanks Ken (not trying to shoot down the suggestion). :)

Hi Steve,
I Not sure why you said that.
I was just letting you know we already do that.
This is a request from 3 different professional customers, that I am passing along.
Thanks again for all your work and support over the years!

Ken :)

Hehehe, I'm reminded of Disney's Chip and Dale, who were comical because of their excessive politeness to each other.

I added that parenthetical remark because, while I wanted to be sure you realized that cut and paste would relieve some of the tedium, I also wanted to be sure you didn't think I was implying I didn't agree with your suggestion.

No kidding. If Steve wasn't from Canada I'd tell these two to run for President! :D
