Hi !

It should be so basic... What is the best method to give some depth to an hemi-sphere. I draw a ball, cut it to have my hemi-ball. Now... how to add depth ? i've tested to select the polys and next use extender plus or multishift but i've not good results !

Thanks !

If you don't already have it try http://www.blochi.com/gfx/thickener_en.html plugin! :)

You can do it without plugins by copying and pasting to another layer, Flip the polygons then Smooth Shift them.
Take them back to the original layer and Merge.

Here is one more way to do it :)

1. select all polygons
2. copy
3. Multishift to extend/thickness you want
4. Paste
5. hit "m" for merge points
6. Hit align polygons (to flip those who maybe left fliped)

cheers.
