If I have a bright light shining on a very reflective object, can I have that reflected light create a lens flare? Is that possible in LW?

If you want actual lens flares, then there's a commercial plugin called hyperflare http://www.ficatech.com/ which can do it. Sadly nothing built in. You could always do it in post-process in photoshop/after effects using either the build in les flare plugin or something like http://www.redgiantsoftware.com/products/categories/motion-graphics/knoll-light-factory-pro/ knoll light factory, which is just too cool! :)

Otherwise if you want to have just bloom, you can try the Bloom or Corona plugins which add flare effects based on how bright something is in a scene. Corona is quite cool too, because you can key it off other channels, like luminosity if you only want it to respond to self illuminating objects.

If you just want Bokeh, you can do that directly in LightWave...
