Haven't been using Lightwave much for some time time...probably more than two years. Just "upgraded" to LW 8.5, but I've got a Lightwave application folder that well over 2 GB in size. Much of it's are keeper project related files,
but a lot of 'em are upgraded programs going back to LW 7.5.

How do you go about cleaning up (and trashing?) the Lightwave folder(s) that contain older programs, configs, plug-ins and the rest without getting rid of the stuff that's important to 8.5?

Thanks

I would suggest get you content folder with all Objects, Scenes and Images out you app folder and keep it out ; )

Save out of old app folder all third party plug ins and lws, and also all your presets (surface, volumetric light, HP and so on) if you had saved any.

thats pretty much it.

Good luck. ... and consider 9.x so much faster and better.
