How many times do you stop and start rendering until you finally let it go?

I start it, then I can't remember how many bounces I have in radiosity, then I stop. Start it again, bounces were fine, then I notice a spot that needs more work, maybe 5 to 10 frames in. Fix it, start again, flare is too bright, stop, turn on distance fade. Oh man, rendering jpgs instead of tgas! Start again.

I average about three times before I let it go, although I have probably had time I must have restarted 20 times.

Am I sick?

You may want to pay a visit to your doctor, that sounds like memory loss!

I do it all the time, mostly for camera adjustments, or lighting issues. I probably on average start 3 or 4 times before I let it go. The project I'm working on now, I have this one scene with a powerful explosion, I must have started it 7 or 8 times because I didn't like the way the hypervoxels, and particles were doing. Probably wasted 8 hours, when I could have used Viper, and OGL preview to proof before I started. I'm sick tooo.:screwy:
