Hi All,

I have a new project coming up that requires me to take NetCDF (network Common Data Form) files and convert the data to a 3D model for animation. The animation is a topographical map changing over 1000's of years.

The problem is:

1) I have never even heard of NetCDF files (lol)

2) I believe they are data-set files or spreadsheet type files. The description (when I looked online) was: a set of software libraries and machine-independent data formats that support the creation, access, and sharing of array-oriented scientific data.

So besides MANUALLY interpreting the data measurement by measurement...is there any other way that would be less time prohibitive?

Thanks in advance :)
