I've noticed that when I uncheck the (play at exact rate), the playback is alot smother but too quick, and checked it plays with correct timing but it seems to be skiping several frames and is very choppy. If I scrub through it manualy no prob, I'd rather have the correct timing without having to guess.

What do you think is causing this skippy chopy playback.

with a 5000k character animating, without (play at exact rate), 60fps
with (play at exact rate), 60fps skipping.

I get the same thing. i posted about this, but the devs didn't seem to see the problem occurring.. Why, when it's playing every frame, it's lovely and smooth, but play at exact rate skips and drops frames :P

Yeah, me too. Seems strange. Out of curiosity, Mat, WTF is playing at 60fps?

Just a single character with some basic animation.

just add the frame rate meter to an object. and it will tell you the peak frame rate reached.

Ahhh, no worries. Sorry, I thought you were animating for an intended output at 60fps.
