Is there a possibility to render a 3D composite with actual video in lightwave?

I think i have to use After Effects, but i thought i would ask first to see if lightwave is capable of doing this without doing it frame by frame. :lwicon:

it is, but rarely a good idea. render frame by frame and stitch it together within lightwave. rendering straight to video can be a gamble. it's bit me in the *** before.

Load the video as a background image.

Daniel is correct (you are in Memphis too?)

But we find it easier to render separate and composite in AE or Premiere Pro - we use both. Much better control for keying foreground objects out or adding other elements.

You can see a few recent shots here http://www.maytowncenter.com/video.html

About 5 shots or so in birds with buildings, people with buildings - same at end - two more that incorporate video with 3d.

Yes much more control in AE or such.
