Vote for it!!

If the vote is enough i will begin to develop it (and Mike will distribute it LOL)

If it adds to LW I'll vote for it :)

It's non 64-bit which is a real bummer :(

Also been looking into plugging it in :)

Oh love the 5 minute edit :)

Anyway, just went over to the forums and he replied to my message yesterday. There are 64-bit files of the library(not yet released) - just pm julio and he'll send it to you.

All within LW? Or something like: LW > NGD > LW?
Here my vote! :)

Here my vote! :)

In LightWave native interface!

something like the great and discontinued DR IMPACT (why they discontinue such a great RB dynamics plugin??, god knows)

but with more features and wizards for various effects!, like setup for spaceships explosion, automatic object breaking, shattering glass .. etc. :D

How would it compare to the ODE implementation that has been worked on?

It might interest you to know that the author of Impact, David Vrba now works for NewTek...

I'm not, I was merely informing you that the talent behind impact, is now working for NT....

Why vote indeed, get coding already, who doesn't want a working physics engine in LW?

Ok guys!, development started! :agree:

Thanks for your vote :)

hope this will be included later in LW :D

and now time that u guys will vote for features to be included in the physics engine

Alright Jay! Well first let me thank you for giving it a shot. New dynamics are most welcome. Kevin MacPhail has done a great job so far with ODEfl, but we haven't heard from Kevin in quite a while, so perhaps development has come to a halt (?).

Here are my wishes in order of importance:

1) Good and stable results.
2) Fast calculation.
3) Large scenes (many objects and many simultaneous interactions).
4) Keyframe animation driven.
5) Joints/hinges.
6) Parts (like in LW HardFX)
7) Affected by wind.

I've got a few more requests, but if you can 'just' pull off the above that would be awesome. :)

Good luck! And please keep us updated!

I don't need 64bit for game stuff but neverthe less 64 bit for games will be the future.

+1!! Can I vote for my imaginary friends too?
