Hi !
From the layout is there a way (shortcut ???) to quickly orient the camera to look at an object ?
Thanks !

Yes! Place a "Null" in the Scene (name it CameraFocus??), then select the Camera and in the Motion Properties, Target the Null. Now, whenever you move the Null, the Camera will move to track it. Simple to setup and works as expected.

Or.... have the camera target the object you want followed. Press 'm' for motion options and at the very top, select your target object as target.

Cougar12dk is quite right, you can have the Camera target "whatever." I have just found that if I target the object, the camera points to a fixed point at the center of the Object. Whereas the Null option, which is an extra step and needs to be "Key'd," gives me the flexibility to move it up to a point of interest. Best of both, Parent the Null to the Object, then it can be moved independently but at least tracks with the Object as you move the Object around. Different options.

That is correct, it's far more flexible than just targetting the object. Targetting the object will target the object's pivot point, which isn't always where you want the center of attention. So a null that is parented to the objet is far more flexible in that sense :)
