View Full Version : Surface Effectors?

Is there a way of doing a surface effector type effect in LW 9.x? I will need this for an upcoming project. For those that are familiar with Prem's Surface Effector plugin may know what I'm talking about. See this link for a description ...

Use Dennis Pontonniers Marker Pen Plugin. Its free and does the same thing.

Thanks Larry! I think that should do the trick. I need it to fade also .. I'll give it a try.

Concerning Prem's plugin ... it doesn't exist anymore as far as I know. I was thinking that perhaps NT would have purchased it along with Relativity. Would be nice. :)

Now that I think of it, Polk's Acid by Worley may fill the bill. I need to dust this plugin off and see if it works with LW 9.x.

Prem has long since abandoned his customers. I use that word deliberately. He took money for SE/DSFX 2 and then ran off, never to be heard from again. It's completely unprofessional and he continues to ignore any and all email sent his way. I suspect he simply didn't offer SE/DSFX to NewTek, but that's between NT and Prem.

Acid should do the job very nicely if DPont's doesn't. I've not seen any issues with Taft/Polk under Win32 9.x

IVe also used Dponts Particle paint to do some interesting things too. :)
