there is an easy way to convert a mesh of tris and quads into two point polygons?

I want to try Pooby's wobbly fat technique (http://www.newtek.com/forums/showthread.php?p=223062#post223062) on one of my characters, but I don't want to spend too much time converting all the polygons.


Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Choose all points, use extender, move to the side, lasso around old geometry and delete.
Saw it in one of Protons videos I think.. :)

Thanks, that works great. Now I have managed to make it to the next roadblock. LOL

My plan was to do a point normal move after I had created the 2 point polys but I forgot there wouldn't be any normals after that. :D I should have seen that coming. Must be the heat. phew!

Well... here's what happened

Select points > extender > point normal move.... = Den evareeee ting going katty-wompuss

But I can still use other tools more well suited to the task.
