I was just searching Siggraph Exhibitors list and can't find Newtek either in Siggraph's Exhibitors list

(http://sis.siggraph.org/cgi-bin/procform?&SESS=%17%9A%BC-D%B7d%C1E%E1%CB%C0%04G%98%2C%B1%17%60n%CD%98%40%8D %0B95P%8F%FF%BE.w%DA%E6%87%DC%AC8%06%B8%E4W%0Eg%D3 %DD%8D%24%DFH%17%C5d%9C%1E%F5%A0m%01%60%02%5C%1AM% FE%BB%B9%1C9%84%07H%C9%CEYP%B8p%F4&preparsed=1)

nor in the Convention Center floor plan. (it's hard to read the small print)

Where is your booth located this year?

Someone at Texas forgot to reserve a space at the exhibition floor, I guess.

In keeping with recent budgetary constraints and in line with current Eco-trends the exhibit will be held just outside the convention, among UCal faculty and students...in the trees.

List of Exhibitors on Page 34 NewTek, Inc. is listed. That is the only place that NewTek is listed anywhere in the advance program.

Looking at the complete listing of exhibitors by booth number NewTek is not listed.

Click on "Complete List of SIGGRAPH 2008 Exhibitors" link then you can do alpha letter or complete listing. Newtek is not listed there.

<<Shrug>> Dunno.

If Newtek are able, they should grab booth 537 or 529..

560 wouldn't be bad, next to BOXX. Of course, would BOXX demo LW on their BOXXen? I doubt it.

1209 next to Blue Sky... kinda far away from the Home Row of 3D stuff

159, 259, 361 and 153 would be a fairly bad place. IMHO.

But, you get what you can.

Wait - actually... looking at the PDF, I must be blind.

Big letters. New Tech Demo. Siggraph should be ashamed for misspelling the company's name like that. Newtek must have something HUGE, look at all that floorspace!

Um...

New Tech Demos... could be anything really... could be demos of new technologies or whatever...

Will be cool if it is NewTek though... :)

A person can wish.... :D

Yah, I guess Siggraph is trying to get the show floor more "happenin'" by putting some of the Siggraph events down there along with the vendors to use the floor space a bit better. I assume. Slow Art, Rome Reborn and Siggraph Village seem to bear that out a bit. I think they're doing that to tempt people who just take the Free Pass to buy an upgraded ticket. "Like what you see? Buy a real ticket and see the rest" kinda thing.

Wow... yeah, according to the printable list, they are at booth 159. Quite possibly one of the worst locations, I think. :-(

What you talkin' ? All that storage space, and great access to the toilets! ;)

Another Siggraph I will miss ... :/ ... too bad. Would like to see that knitting tech demo :)

Last year Newtek had tonnes of floor space too. Just a shame the computers behind the stage where the Newtek bods like Proton were, looked more like a reception desk than anything. It kinda looked disconnected from the rest of the Newtek stage behind them. They certainly put on a stonking show though, much more interesting than alot of the other stuff going on!
