View Full Version : UV Map Coordinate Flipping

Modeler's coordinate system assumes Y is "up". However, I'm building a model for an application that assumes that Z is "up". Is there a simple way to tell all of your UV maps upon exporting to use the different coordinate system?

UVs dont use a 3d coord system. The UVs will still be the same relative to the model.

Larry, your response got me thinking...I was always under the impression that when I export an obj from LW using Dodgy's MTLExporter it was also exporting the UV map data. Maybe what I'm seeing is the other app trying to use a default projection mapping because it doesn't have the UV map data.

Could that be the case, and, if so, is there any way to include UV map data in an obj export from Modeler?

Okay, never mind. I found out the the "other app" actually imports LWO files, including UV data.
