Does anyone have any good ideas on modeling a keyboard in lightwave? Not sure exactly how to do it so ya any tutorials or helpful hints would be welcome.

it depends if you want to go really detailed. Do you want to have the little springs and all under the keys or just the basic shape of the keys? all done fairly realisticly.

I'll usually take a look at each part separately first. On most keyboards there are not too many parts that are really complicated. The button are tapered cubes with rounded edges, cords are cylinders, the base is a long cube with the top cut out for the keys, etc.

Then it's a matter of placing all of the elements and adding detail as needed.

Get the shell of the keyboard done first if anything, then you have a guide for all the rest of the things, like the keys and cord.
