This is a reel from TNS studios... pretty cool stuff.

From storyboard to screen in a fraction of the time with greater realism.

TSNS technology allows filmmakers to employ demolition scenes in days instead of weeks or months, with greater realism and with more options, relegating pre-breaking and digital glue to things of the past.

I really like the way they get different materials to break apart in different way, and all of the internal materials reacting as well.

Having had a recent experience with HardFX in Lightwave, I'd love to have a materials based dynamics system. I'm not sure how all the newer ones work, but one frustrating thing was trying to figure out what the heck all of the different parameters do. The vast majority of the time (100% of the time for me) all you're trying to do is re-create an existing material.
As we have the materials in the surfacing node editor, I'd love a dynamics system that is material based.
