I am making a landscape with a cylindrical texture on the inside of a large open circle. Setting the wrap to 1.0 the the image doesn't meet properly. The image circles the object, but it has one section that shows the image compressed. It is hard to explain so I will add a picture. I made a test with water tower image that should wrap from top to bottom, but as you can see the top and the bottom don't meet. They touch a smaller image of itself.

I am getting some distortion, but not as much as OGL. Why does OGL do that?

If you can't get it to work using the cylindrical map, you can always try to uv unwrap it starting with a cylindrical unwrap. The unwrap starts on the -X axis I believe if you're going to do it that way.

Because of global warming.
