Very nice! I looked at the ioCI and Mars videos. They have great energy. I loved the music for both, cause I'm a techno head in the extreme.

The cel work is excellent. I think it's very inspiring how the Japanese are using the cel look with LW. That's one of the things that got me really inspired with LW in the first place.

Is this LW ?

How does he (she ?) render the strokes in the shadows ?

Maybe he/she renders in layers and uses the shadow channel(s) as an Alpha in post over a layer with nothing but lines/scratches?

Looking at this makes me despair that I can't crank out beautiful artwork like that. Must... continue... practicing!

At least it is a presentable render, I think.
I am not japanese and not fully influenced by the japanese style. (I mean the flat shading and strokes.)
But my works are cel-shaded.

Well you can't compare your works with these renders. You did a non realistic render that has nothing to deal with comics style (japanese or not that's not the point at all).

I didn't said your works wasn't cool but it's looking like the non realistic render from Poser 5 or some Photosoph filters but has nothing to deal with emulation of hand draw comics (even doesn't looks like celshaded).

Well, the topic is just mentioned about Cel work. Is it need to deal with comic style?

My original outputs are cel like and no difference to that website's. But I am an alchemist in graphics, may be just like to bring other alternative presentation related to cel-shade works.

There is a good discussion about the pros and cons with cel-shade work styles on my thread.

Anyway, LW Rocks.

Proton, If it's not too late, it would be great to have that Mars Brat video in the Siggraph show reel and put some Wonderful Days footage in there while you're at it. :)

Dick Ma, nice render.
