Ok, seems since I switched to vista 64, I'm always seeing some opengl oddness in modeler. I'm wondering is I forgot to set something properly, or if the opengl drivers for ati on vista 64 just have issues.

Same things happen on modeler 32 or modeler 64, but I noticed that the wacom vista 64 bit driver only works on modeler 64, not modeler 32.

What I'm seeing from time to time, is my wireframe poly outlines become tiny dots.. but once I manipulate the pane that has gone "dotted" it referesheds back to normal.

I'm using XP64 and I get that same effect now and then. Nvidia 8600GT, latest drivers for what it's worth.

This free utility may be of some use as far as OpenGl is concerned. It's called OpenGL Extensions Viewer and it generates a report of your OGL capabilities after running several tests. There's a database of what each card (that is reported) supports.

Well, the 1950 pro card isn't that old, and worked perfectly under xp32. supposedly is supports opengl 2.0 100%
