Hi All
I would like to know if it is possible to switch camera types via Lscript
in order to :
1) create camera
2) switch it a surface baking camera.

I don't know much about the new updates to lscript. But even if you could switch camera type I doubt you'd be able to adjust the type-specific settings. It's just something you can't do with LWs plugin architecture (unless plugin has a comring implementation; NT has never bothered (one exception) ). So I think you will have to resort to editing the Scene file and reloading the edited copy.

yeah, wouldn't that be awesome if all plugins would have a comring backdoor?

Which is the one that has it?

Item Shape. You can (finally) see it's "interface" in makebonechain.ls (LW9.x). But I believe this comring was in there from the start. I remember searching all plugin files for "comring" and it came up, and NT obviously used it for the Build Null Object dialog.

You can apply plugins to items with LScript, making a new camera and setting it to be a Surface Baker may be possible.
