View Full Version : softfx problem, slight delay after calculation

i think i may be doing something wrong,

i have an animated character rigged with bones, morphs and ik.

i apply softfx for secondry motion on his belly, ears and underarms (bingowings:)). each one is a seperate instance so i can use the "operator switch" to envelope the dynamics in and out when needed.

the character has very specific key frames (0,30,60) that need to be 100% identicle so enveloping the dynamics off at these frames ensures that they are the same.

after calculation the characters geometry seems to "lag" behind by a couple of frames making my very important (0,30,60) keyframes totally in the wrong place.

anybody any ideas?
