Some may have missed this (I know I did!) but it appears Christian Bloch (http://www.hdrlabs.com) has updated his excellent Smart IBL (Image Based Loader) script (http://www.hdrlabs.com/sibl/loader.html) to v1.6.

It has a new thumbnail view and works on Mac and PC, LightWave3D v9.3 and up.

Also, here is the link to the monthly sIBL collections for use with Smart IBL:

sIBL collections on HDR Labs (http://www.hdrlabs.com/PanoGallery/sibl/)

Go get it! While you're at it, grab the HDRI Handbook (http://www.hdrlabs.com/book/index.html) too if you've not already bought it, it's a fantastic resource and goes someway to repaying Christian for all his dedicated hard work in bringing some fantastic tools to LightWave over the years.

(And no, I'm not getting commission!) ;)

Cheers
Matt

No prob.

Hey - please do test this baby extensively. Someone mentioned problems with LW9.31 64-bit, but I couldn't reproduce it yet.
If you post a bug report on www.hdrlabs.com/forum I will find it much faster :)

nope, sorry - there have been vast improvements in 9.3, especially the new "Unseen By Radiosity" swatch and Final Gather that pave the way to a better and slicker setup. The upgrade is worth it.

Man, quite apart from the wealth of info, that's a drop-dead gorgeous site!
