Fujio has just released a Mac version of Bezier Bend. Great news.

Hi Julian. I don't know what Bezier Bend does

Hi Beam - It lets you deform objects using curves defined by multiple nulls and then has various ways of tying the displaced object into that curve. You can create bendy rope/tentacle type movements without bones, grow things along chains or modify the movement of boned objects. There are sample scenes in the download with the plugin that illustrate what it can do. Before the Spline Control deform tool appeared in 7.5b/c it was one of the best ways to get this type of deformation and a lot of PC users still seem to think it has more power than Spline Control. On the PC side, there's another fabulous-looking spline deformer just released by Shift:

Be nice to see that on the Mac, too.

Bezier Bend's documentation is in Japanese, which makes navigating the interface and setup tricky but I think the potential's there. I'm going to spend some time learning the UI because I need to animate some tentacles in the next week or so..

Thanks for the explanation, Julian. I used to use one of the older Worley plug-ins to do a similar thing, but Bezier Bend sounds much better.
