View Full Version : Accesing another object's Position

Hello! In the lscript manual in the motion agent section I learned how to access an object's own position using the parameter of the function create, process, etc. But I dont know how to access another object's position.
I tried using Mesh(Object's name) but that returns the mesh, but it isnt a motion agent, and i can't use the get(POSITION,time) with that.
I'm still looking in the manual for a way to access another object's position but havent found the way yet, does anyone know how to do it?

You cannot access another items motion agent from within a motion modifier. But you can get at the other items position from their object agent. Look in the Common Data Members and Methods section in the reference manual under param().
