Saw a couple of these on the shelves at Fry's this weekend, and *almost* bought one. I decided to hold out until I'd read some reviews and found out how much support there was.

Hopefully some enterprising programmer will make a plugin for LW sometime in the future (the SDK is linked off the page above). Sculpting in Zbrush/3D Coat might benefit as well.

Anyway, I'll go by and pick one up in a couple of weeks since most of the reviews I've read so far have been positive, and the price isn't all that high ($189 when I saw one).

Any thoughts?

wowow
Cool looks like an awesome device
To much money for 1...
After 6 to 9 months the price would fall anyways..

Yeah, this is where Andrew could really stick it to ZBrush (at least for a little while) if he wanted to. He already offers support with 3DConnexion devices (Neither ZBrush nor Modo does), and perhaps he could bundle 3D Coat with this for $299 which is still half of what Zbrush costs.
I'm sure these guys wouldn't mind working out an arrangement where they both list the bundle on their respective sites.
