View Full Version : Alpha channel not working

I've been trying to render a simple plane with an image that has a transparent background.

Here is what I've tried so far:
.tga, .png, psd (with alpha channel)

So I've tried the just a texture map, the texture editor with an alpha image, and the node editor adding single and separate images with 2D images connected to the Color and Transparency (alpha image) nodes.

It always renders without any transparency in Layout, and also shows no transparency in Modeler (although I'm not sure if it would or not.)

I'm not sure what I'm missing, so some advice is appreciated - thanks in advance.

Well, I guess if one decides to use Edit Nodes one must *check the box* beside Edit Nodes :(

I'm guessing that if Edit Nodes are checked it doesn't display, so one must add a plain image anyway?
