Hey all,

I'm just trying to created a flying ribbon and I am stuck. I had a look at Vaughns bucket tutorial but can't get the bone morph thing to work.

Any direction on this would be great.

Is this the morph trick where you use bones to layout the movement, then use a morph displaced along the X axis to control the movement?

That's the one but for some reason it won't follow the bones. I can't work out why.. I have followed the tute exactly.

a much easier method is to use DStorms free trailer plugin.
It also easily allows other displacements to be added in.

Did you set the subdivision order correctly? It may have to be set to 'last'.

This might be just what you need. Not sure, but it will give you more ideas if anything. This is from the SIGGRAPH videos on the main site.

On the right side of the video are the list of videos... scroll all the way down. It's the last one.

Thanks all, I haven't had an opportunity to reply. I had a bit of a play with the inertia plug too, I think I should be able to achieve what I want with that.
