hello gang,

maybe i'm being a bit too ambitious here, but i figured instead of complaing about lack of support for lw on linux i'd try to do something about it.

the plan is to develope tools for linux to assist in a pipeline first goat is address net rendering.

two questions;

1. how much of a pain is it to port the SDK libs
2. any open source code for a rendernet client /server avialable?
3. where can i pickup the SDK

your questions could probably better answered by the folks over at the lw-plugins yahoogroups list.

lightnet should be open source...

http://www.joejustice.org/lightwave/lightnet/

But I'm unsure about porting it on linux.

In any case I have already done a linux network client (http://www.rayserver.com/) but the sources are not open. Contact me personaly if you want to explain a bit more what you had in mind.
