Is there any way in Modeller to do something similar to Dragnet, but have it operate on an axis perpendicular/orthogonal to the viewport? Basically have it pull points towards you or push them away from you.

I'm thinking something along the lines of ZBrush, where you can hover the mouse over an area and it raises them up or pushes them down.

Thanks.

Ctrl key?

Or do you mean in perspective view where the perpendicular is potentially random?

Sorry, I wasn't clear. For example, if I'm in the Back (XY) view and I want to Dragnet some points along the Z axis (into or out of the screen).

Oh OK. Very good question. Applying a Morph with the Airbrush tool would do it. You have to set up the morph first in the direction you want. The airbrush tool could then be used to "paint" the morph on to the base mesh.

No problem... It kind of forces me to go back and remember what great tutorials there are out there. (and maybe re-watch them too!) :)
