View Full Version : Legacy plugin needed

02-22-2003, 11:39 AM
Hello everyone

I recently purchased the Thor plugin. However it needs a couple of legacy plugins. These are;

1) objaccess.p

2) envaccess.p

I do not have these in my legacy folder.

Would someone email me these if you can

Isn't it easier and a lot quicker to copy them from the cd?

I have LW7.5 on two machine, both with out those two files.

one is a clean install for my laptop, the legacy plugin folder has only one sub folder and it contains only one plugin.

on my cd the main programs are zipped and I cant see into them.

any more suggestions?

cant remember... but were there optiosn to install legacy plugins during setup?

at any rate: you should have three subfolders in your legacy

1.) common
2.) modeler
3.) layout

it ought to be the the /Common subdirectory. if you cant manage to figure it out, drop me a line here:

[email protected]

and i'll email it to you, zipped.

if anyone has a problem with this (e.g. legal stuff) please inform me.

Look in the Lightwave folder on your HD, you should find a folder called 'Legacy_Plugins'. Inside you'll find all of the mentioned Plugs. I had to load them myslef last night when installing some shaders.

How do you like the Thor plugin by the way...I just bought it also and have some mixed feelings about it. I think I am just terrible and surfacing because my lightning looks pretty sad. Tell me if you have any hints with Thor.

Is it just me or do other people not have a legacy folder? I don't recall having the option during install and I've never had a folder of that name.

There should be a legacy folder. Try doing a search.
