View Full Version : Fussball player/table football player

A while since I have been on this forum but a client has asked for a "semi" realistic table soccer/football player for a visual I'm doing. I did a fairly basic one but they've now decided that they want something more realistic ie more definition - semi formed face etc. Rather than go and make one which with my mesh modeling skills would take a week does anyone know where I could buy a model???

Thanks Jesus but got that one already - they want more detail. Its really tricky but I did see one out there when I first did the job - think it was 50 USD...

So how much more detail do they need specifically?

This is the thing. I'm aiming at basic body features - an indication of knees, calves, possibly basic facial features. Imagine a Poser figure that had been shrink wrapped. Features but nothing specific.

I know - how long is a piece of string...

Maybe swap the figure models out with other models? MakeHuman?

Not sure exactly what you mean. I do have Poser already but quite what I could do to get the effect I want I dont know.

You can go to turbosquid and buy the foosball table model, then buy a human model (or use a poser model) and combine them in Lightwave.

Is it an animation or still?

Well...this is groping blindly here, and I don't know your timeline, but perhaps you can just take the foosball table you have, cut out the figures, and replace them with your own little Poser figures.

It's a crappy way of doing it, but I've looked around at model sites and can't find any nice foosball table models.

EDIT: Roller beat me to it. :D

I blame the boring report I'm supposed to be writing...

I offered them a poser figure to start with which they said was too complex - so went for a slightly bastardised TurboSquid model which they initially agreed on. Clients assume that all I have to do is hit the "add detail" button. I'm not a character modeler so I think I'm going to have to refer them on. Theres only so much time you can spend.

That's right next to the 'make character walk' button corect?
