View Full Version : Strange Glass Artifacts

Hey guys, I'm hoping you can help me out with this.

I followed this great tut from liquid-arts.de and on the final render there are some strange speckles on the corners of the glass surfaces. This was rendered at 800x600 on medium AA.
When I tried rendering out the original scene that he created there were no speckles.
Is there a setting or something am I missing?
Not a big deal but this has happened to some other glass renders I've made and it's kind of annoying.

Just a guess... more reflection blurring? Also, are you using Fast Fresnel?

Thanks guys, I'll check both of those out and give it another shot.

And yes Richpr, fast fresnel was enabled

What settings applied to FF? And could be some 1 and 2 point polys as well...
