Bought the 2.5 with a free upgrade to 3, but can't seem to get my activation "email"

I just heard from Viktor on a tech support issue. I'm sure he's just busy getting ready for the v3 release.

You haven't gotten an initial email after purchase?

Yes I got an email after the purchase. And went throught the download process and install. The install kept erroring so I did a manual install. It said I was to get a email with a full serial number or keycode "in seconds" but got nothing. Not sure whats going on. Sent support an email but got no response as yet. Help

try going here:

and requesting your license data again. You should then get an email with all your info in it.

You installed and input your serial number in the LWCAD options window, then tried to activate?

03-11-2008, 01:09 PM
yes. Was sort of confusing what numbers were what. The installation needs to be automated. Nothing I did worked. Where is support. Have heard nothing back as yet.

is the "hardware number" the same as your Lightwave "LOCK ID"

From the LWCAD activation email:

LWCAD version 1.5 contains only eight digit serial number. That serial number is equal with your activation number.
Hardware number and key number are unused in version 1.5

How did you buy the upgrade? Electronically? Or did you have it shipped to you?

Did you get *any* emails when you bought your LWCAD?

I just upgraded to 2.5 from 1.5 and everything worked perfectly for me. It was a little confusing, but going based on the short movie on www.wtools3d.com that walked through the process, it was much easier.
