 I want to know that that person (and the makers of Transformers) managed to think of all the pieces, how they all fit together, and how they all work together to make the transformation.

I know they did for the movie and that'd sure be impressive if this guy did.

Amazing animation, I especially like the train I just wish it kept going.

It is gorgeous. But a massive cheat, watch it slowly and bits go trough each other, and deform . That's just like in the movie too, they shrink and cheat bits massively, which just goes to show, cheat as much as you can get away with!

1.trains-formers

UeberCool!

This is frontpage stuff - artist profile, please! I would love to see that, rendered in a descent resolution on the profiles page!

:lightwave :lightwave :lightwave

And, by the way.....

... aren't we supposed to believe that it would be impossible to do stuff like that in Lightwave?

I thought it was always widely accepted that this was the kind of character animation (machine parts as opposed to flexing joints) LW was good at?
(e.g. Citroen ads.)

I only know about character work from what I've read, so I could be wrong.

Very very very cool! Both looked fantastic, but I love the Train animation. This animation demands we see this on a better quality file than on YouTube. ...love Transformers.

The HD version is even more amazing. I think I watched it about 6 times before I was even aware it was looping .. great stuff.

Is he at the DAVE School?

I didnīt love the smoke for the train, but everything else was wonderful.
