View Full Version : Is there any way to do this in 7.5D

I'm modeling a relatively complex object(a house, inside&out), is there any way to add a small bevel to all the corners at once. I basically want to model it with perfectly square corners just for the sake of speed, and then slightly bevel the corners(say about 1/16" at a 45degree angle), just to catch some light so it looks more realistic when rendered. Is there a way to do this in 7.5d? Rounder would be great for this I think, but it doesn't show up until V8.

I can remember a plugin that did what you described but it was a long time ago when i used it (added a micro bevel to all the corners) and tbh i cant remember the name of it or even what version of lightwave it was for.

There defo was something tho...

Not sure, but it could maybe be:

This is a shader type of beveling plug. That can be applied speedy to your objects. It works with 7.5d and lw 8. And maybe also with lw 9, almost sure of it. Not actually beveling geometry, but it renders like it did. Recommended.
