Is it possible to fuse multiple meshes into a single solid continuous mesh?

I need to send a model for stereolithography but they request a solid continuous mesh.

Help Please  :help:

Well, a boolean UNION does that, but you mesh needs to made of polygons only (which it needs to be for STL anyhow).
You might also still need to clean it up afterwards.

I've been trying boolean, but it only puts the objects in the same layer without merging them.

I'll keep trying, thank you

(I believe the guy operating the stereolithographer is skiping his medication)

I must admit that for me the boolean Union command has only ever collated the layers into one layer without actually doing the usual "illustrator" union thang...

Hm, it works here. Try it yourself with a simple cube and a sphere, offset to each other... and then check the wireframe.

If it doesn't work you'll probably need to clean up your original meshes first.

And: polygons only. No curves, CCs or anything like that...

Cheers,
Mike

And you do need to merge them yourself after booleaning AFAIK.
