View Full Version : Reset Object rotation and scale etc.

I'm trying to rig a character and as I modeled it, it was preaty big. In Layout I scaled it down. Now when I want to draw the bones I get a message telling me, I first have to reset models scale and rotation.

Now how do I do that? Of course I could have sized it down in Modeler, but I didn't and did it in Layout instead.

set rotation channels to 0, 0, 0, and transform to 1, 1, 1. there is also a reset button under modify->general. then resize your mesh in modeler and bring it back to layout for rigging. if you want to use target for the eyes, your character should face the positive z axis.

I would scale it down in modeler.

Ok thx for the replies.

I'll go with teh resize in Modeler. I just thought there might be a way to do it in Layout.

Yeah the model is looking down the +z.
