Keyframe magazine has copies of dfx+ in stock and ready to ship and will continue offering the $495.00 upgrade deal until all their copies are sold. Plus you get a year subscription to Keyframe magazine thrown in for free (Dan Ablan is the new editor-in-chief).

To get the deal, click on the "free subscriptions?" link on their main page at www.keyframemag.com.

Good news to me since I procrastinated and thought I had missed out on the deal. Plus I saved the $54.00 I was going to spend on a year's subscription.

I hope someone else finds this good news.

@#$^$&#!!!! Argh, I guess it's the really late procrastinating bird that gets the worm.

Wow, that kinda sucks for all the people who were told to "hurry now".

Hi jrm3d,

Thanks for the heads up. :D I just ordered my upgrade from Keyframe as I thought I missed out on the deal also.
But now I get a free Keyframe sub just as Dan Ablan is taking
over as editor.

Cheers,
JS

Hmm...is it me, or does DFX+ support no more than 8bpp?

If so, i rather go for the summer deal (995 for a LW license...)

It only supports 8-bpc. Although it also states that it supports Cineon files. Don't know how that can be, unless it reduces the depth prior to opening the file.

What summer deal are talking about?

Holy Cow!

I just ordered my upgrade from them saturday afternoon and here it is monday and the mailman just delivered my digital fusion, lw7.5 disks, and first issue of keyframe. I am in Virginia and they are in Nevada. I am impressed with this excellent service.

JS33, I hope you get yours as quick.

Especially when they've been waiting a couple of weeks for a backorder. Got half a mind to cancel and re-order with Keyframe.

er...
Scratch that. Just heard they're out.

Wow I got my order in just in time I guess.
I ordered last night and I already have issue 33 so my KF sub will start with Issue 34.

If you missed the Keyframe deal just contact NT and ask them if they have anymore left. I bet they will take care of you.;)

Cheers,
JS
