View Full Version : UV map holes on SubD

I'm working on a SubD dragon. I used PLG_Make_UV_Edit to make the UV Maps. The problem I'm having is along the seams (underbelly and shoulders). In modeler, the UVs show up correctly in the OGL preview and all the base geometry shows up in the UV Texture View.

In layout, with a SubPatch level of 0 (no subpatching) everything looks normal. A sub-patch level of 1 creates stretching in some areas. Any sub-patch level over 1 shows holes in the UV Map. With the subpatch level set to 10 you can clearly see stretching around the seams as well as some holes.

If I freeze the object in modeler some of the new geometry is missing from the UV Map.

What can I do to fix this ASAP?

Update: I was able to get a Subdivided object with a usable UV map by doing a Subdivide (Metaform) (Shift-D) in modeler. Hopefully it'll work okay when I try to animate it.
