View Full Version : Problems with "apply IKFK" blending script

Got a rig, nothing fancy. Simple IK with a null as goal. Match goal orient turned on.

After I run the apply IKFK, the FK hand bone rotates 360 when blending to the IK hand bone.
Created a blank scene and created a 3 bone IK rig, same result.

In applyFKIK I select: "... and lower hierarchy" and "match goal orent". Nothing more.

I use 9.3

Gone through vfollower etc cant really locate what's going on.

I may be totally off....

put a slight bend in your bones and rest them. Does that take care of it? If so, it's because the IK doesn't know which way is up so it flips. The other way I handle this is to put a higher stiffness on the non-bending axis.
