View Full Version : Render passes for comping?

I was wondering if there were another way besides the .psd exporter to have Lightwave render passes like raw color, shading, etc. It would be nice to have the flexibility, not to mention the smaller file sizes, to render just what I need as a .tga or something

Any help is appreciated.

You have the buffer saver

and the 3rd party plugin passport

Thanks Walfridson, I looked at both of those, and unless I'm missing something, they don't do the trick. Great for isolating objects or surfaces, not good enough for true surface compositing options. The .psd saver seems like the only option. At least it's the only one with any coverage in the manuals.

Solved it.
Got DStorm's buffer saver. Seems to work like a champ
