Hi !
i'm a newbie. It is my first try to model a spaceship with lw9. I need some advice to design the ship cockpit ! i've selected the points and now how to create the 'glass' ? i know that i can make a poly (CTRL+P) , but next how to deform/divide it and connect it to the existant part ? (in a previous step i've deleted the polygons and saved my file, and now i can't redraw them).

Thanks to advert me step by step how to close the cockpit !!!

I would use the points you have selected to create splines and then patch in the polys. I have a free tutorial on spline patching on my site. :)

From the SplineGod spline tutorial, here my results using three splines and the patch function.

Now i'm searching how to set an UV Texture Maps on this ship ! (as a model in game, apply a 1024x1024 texture image on it) Is there a very newbie tutorial to do this somewhere ? Thanks !

yes i read the documentation too. I've a lot of things to learn !!! So sometimes i need some cheats to progress quickly and find the right info (big doc to read on the screen as pdf files, i've not the printed manual). For me, as english is not my native langage, it's more easy to understand with an step by step example (video or plain text).
