View Full Version : AppleScripts and 9.3.1

We finished polishing the AppleScript interface in 9.3.1. This lets you issue any of 997 different LScript commands in Layout, from AppleScript!

Just fire up Script Editor.app (in /Applications/AppleScript/) and drag Layout onto its icon to see its AppleScript dictionary.

Additional capabilities were in there during various stages of the Open Beta cycle, but we decided for this initial run, to just use the Command verb. So I am curious--are there any requests for additional AppleScript capabilities?

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!

This is why I bought a Mac!

Man...I wish I could play with LW 9.3+ right now, but that sounds super and yes more options the better

Keep up the great work and let Jay or Chuck know, there is an outstanding issue...I think it's about an icon on a t-shirt or something :hey:

Oh, I almost forgot...can you archive current projects from layout and save all the relevant assets (objects, images used in the scene.) to a zip file with the folder structure intact?
