We are we are selling 48 nodes. Here’s everything included...



- 48 Dual AMD 248 Opteron Render nodes w/4 gig and 80 gig HD.

- 48 Windows XP Pro Lic.

- Enclosed with in nice 2U cases w/rails and power cords.

- 2 Racks units.

- Six 8 port KVMs w/the associated KVM cables for each of the 46 machines.

- Our IT guy is excellent and kept them well maintained. We have no problem to shut down the farm and power it back up when we need it and they all fire right back up.

- All systems are currently running, and have fresh windows installs as we prepped them for sale.



The whole shoot’n match for $23,952 + Shipping & Tax



This comes out to $499/node.



If you buy all nodes you get the KVMs and Racks for free.

So, can we purchase the nodes individually or are they looking to sell the whole damn thing in one shebang? I'm interested but I personally don't have a need for 48 nodes. This would've been good info to put in the first post by the way there ED-209.

BTW... for the "why" folks out there.

These 48 render node are very spunky, but we still have our 61+ Quad-Core eXtreme render nodes, in the render farm arsenal. So, it just comes down to render time math...

...And that adds up to you, getting to benefit from a great price(s), and well serviced machines!
