View Full Version : Post your Christmas cards?

I normally create my Christmas cards using real 3D materials, like this one (http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/1502/2288/1600/ROBIN_2.jpg): but have decided to go all digital this year. Here's my effort:

Anyone care to share theirs? :)

I did this one last year as well in ZBrush. Didn't add a caption, though.

So.... Merry Christmas!

Thanks Serge, I liked the integration of real and 3D imagery.

Titus, The toy running to the rescue was a nice touch.

And the same to you CMT. Great work. Amazingly skillful detailling. I fancy getting Z-Brush but I like the challenge of creating such detail in Lightwave.

...yeah right. :D

I used to work exclusively with plasticine for my illustrations: www.plastiscenes.co.uk (http://www.plastiscenes.co.uk) But I am trying to change to digital and hope my clients will still be interested.

I think jitter will be your friend :) ..

Plus some custom node textures with fingerprints in them, I always liked that in the early wallace and grommits you could see the fingerprints, added so much!

Plus, if the LW CA is as bad as some say ;) it should be perfect for that stop-motion feel ...

Would like to see some more attempts, I'm sure you'd get some good crits ..

CMT: Amazing.
