Couple of images from a project I did at the weekend.
Rendered in Fprime.

I really need a new monitor. Slightly 'lifted' version of the kitchen. (Wish you could edit your own posts here!)

It's nice, but I can't help but feel it needs more contrast and a bit more "juiciness," sort of like this:

Me too but I was deliberately trying not to add too much contrast as that's the crit I always get.

The final has much more contrast.

Nice pictures, but are there any lightleaks in the first picture ??

No leaks, just colour bleed/bounce.

I tried it again with 1 bounce fprime radiosity to try and lose the light reflection but it still happens. Much quicker render though :)

Only one bounce, seems you use a lot of lights in the scene since its still pretty bright.

I know; my carbon footprint is a shocker.

What's the GI intensity? Are you using ambient light? What's the diffuse level?

Very nice renders and not over lit like so many others.

nice but what an intrusive piece of electronica :)

what an intrusive piece of electronica :)

Actually, I think the sleekest, most beautifully designed flat screen is much more intrusive than this.

Electronica is always an intrusion on furnished interiors. The two just don't go so I love the way this embraces the fact the owner wants a TV rather than try to pretend it's not there.

I dont have a tv....threw it away after noticing that the only thing it shows is stupid realisty shows.

I like The Amazing Race.

Iain, I think its the retractable tv thingy thats overpowering everything, and the fact its black.

I love the render though, really nice job.

Great renders, not sure about the tv system looks a bit crude design wise, would also go for a wide screen.

Nice work. Makes me wish I was designing my own place :)
