I am currently working on my webpage. I created a real cool logo in lightwave and will be inserting it into my page. I am making the template for my page in Photoshop but not sure what size I should make the template. I will be putting it all together in frontpage. I know this is a bit off the topic of lightwave but everyone in this forum is really helpfull.

So what size should I make the template for traditional web viewing? 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768

Thanks all!!

Shane,

That is WAY off the topic of LW. This is an LW forum!

The answer to your question is most people view web sites with their monitors set at a res of 800 x 600.

I agree with Marvin, 800 x 600 should be good enough for anyone.

People who use LW don't just use it to make films and games.

They use it to output as 3D sterographic models, prints and yes for the web. The list is endless, so please feel free to ask these kind of questions here.

800 x 600 as all have stated.

in that case, how would I go about making a shopping cart on my website? Can I make it so after people pick a certain number of items, it automatically takes them to checkout? In a related issue, I made a draggable object in Flash and for some reason the drop target won't recognize it. Would someone be able to give me some tips?

Sculptactive point is entirely valid. So don't be a sore looser Marvin, your only making yourself look bad.
