View Full Version : How to animate?

Hello. I am very new to lightwave. I am wondering how to animate things. How do I create a trail for a object to move on? What button do I press to start the show? And is there a way to move the camera while a object is moving? And also, how can you add sound?

0) Select an item.
1) Scrub forward a few frames using timeslider.
2) Move item.
3) If AutoKey is off hit Enter twice. If Autokey is on ignore this step.
Repeat Steps 1 through 3. Occasionally read the user manual and/or check out some tutorials online.

Unfortunately, you cannot hold a selection of items of different types. So, there is no direct way to move the camera at the same time as you move an object, ... unless you've parented the camera to an object, in which case moving that object will also offset the camera.

Sound can be added through the Scene Editor. The sound will be played when scrubbing the timeline. The sound will not make it into rendered video file.
