Woot! got our new copy of lightwave that comes bundled with speededit today for our all Mac office.... would be nice if speededit even ran on a mac... (well according to the box it doesn't anyways.) Would have rather got a printed manual than speededit.

It's kinda silly that there isn't an option for mac users to opt out of the speededit bundle for something else that is mac usable like, vue or printed manual or.. money off.. or.. funny pictures of newtek staff... or ... a free cookie..

Just thinkin' out loud here.

Yup, I got my box-full-of-speededit sitting on the floor next to my desk.

Has anyone run this on an Intel-Mac yet (using PC emulation software)?

Wondering if it would be worth buying/installing Windows to run it.

I don't really need a video editor, all my animation work is edited in After Effects. Is there some hidden benefit to using speed edit for animation work?

I'm told that Speededit runs well with BootCamp.

Of course it does. A Mac running Windows is just an exceptionally stylish PC, after all.
